APPOINTED NDE DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR
NDE has announced the appointment of Hardy Esterhuizen as Deputy Managing Director.
Mike Campbell continues as Managing Director.
Hardy retains his roles as manager of the Gauteng region - supported by Deputy, James Carmichael - and of overseeing NDE in KwaZulu-Natal.
Hardy Esterhuizen joined NDE Gauteng in 1998 as a Sales Representative and was appointed to head up the Gauteng region in 2006. He opened NDE’s Germiston branch in 2010 and the Pretoria branch in 2012.
Hardy’s formal appointment as Deputy Managing Director is part of NDE’s management succession plan which saw the appointment of Andries Schreuder as Manager of NDE Cape Town in 2014 and Llewellyn Dollman, Cape Town Manager since 1989, moving to a new role in procurement motivated by NDE’s growing need for a centralised purchasing function.
“I look forward to the interesting challenges and opportunities of switching from a regional to a national focus for NDE, knowing that day-to-day operations in Gauteng are in the hands of a very able management team,” says Hardy.
“It is business as usual preserving the status quo at NDE, retaining conservative management and staying open to new technological and market opportunities going forward,” he says.
“We celebrate the managers and leaders of the calibre of Hardy in our ranks, able to step forward in the natural progression of management development in our organisation,” says Mike Campbell.
